Annette is the Community Development Manager for the Washington State Arts Commission (ArtsWA). Her background is in communications, web and UX design, and economic development. She has experience in the non-profit, corporate, small business and public sectors.

She manages the Creative Districts program, working with almost 30 communities across the state. She speaks regularly at national conferences about creative placemaking and growing rural economies and provides consulting to peers in other state arts agencies. Annette is ArtsWA’s CIO, overseeing policy development and IT infrastructure for the agency. She is a certified Change Leader Institute facilitator for Washington State.

Prior to state service, Annette worked in economic development in Thurston County, and owned a marketing firm in Tacoma, WA. Annette is an instructor of graphic design at South Puget Sound Community College. She has her B.S. in Marketing Management and is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Thurston County.
